đź”’ TrustyQ Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2025

TrustyQ (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have when using our AI-powered social media management platform and related services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide and improve TrustyQ’s services.

This includes:

a. Account Information

Name, email address, business name, billing details, and password (encrypted).

b. Connected Social Profiles

When you authorise TrustyQ to connect to platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or Pinterest, we receive access tokens and public profile data as permitted by each platform’s API. We never store your actual social-media passwords.

c. Usage Data

Logs of when you log in, actions you take (e.g. scheduling, posting), IP address, device information, browser type, and approximate location.

d. AI Interactions

Text, captions, or prompts you enter into TrustyQ’s AI tools may be temporarily processed by our AI providers to generate content suggestions. These entries are stored securely for your account history and analytics.

e. Payment Details

All payments are handled securely via Stripe or other PCI-DSS-compliant gateways. We do not store full credit-card details on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Operate and maintain your TrustyQ account.

  • Schedule, publish, and analyse your social-media content.

  • Provide AI-powered captioning, optimisation, and analytics.

  • Improve product performance and customer experience.

  • Send account updates, invoices, and support notices.

  • Detect, prevent, and address security or technical issues.

We never sell your personal information.

3. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored on secure cloud servers located in Australia or trusted regions (e.g. AWS Sydney).

Access is restricted to authorised personnel under strict confidentiality agreements.

We use encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest, enforce strong password policies, and conduct regular security audits.

4. Sharing of Information

We may share limited data with:

  • Service providers (hosting, payment, analytics, AI processing) strictly for operating the service.

  • Social networks’ APIs, when you authorise integrations.

  • Legal authorities, if required by law, regulation, or valid legal request.

All partners are bound by confidentiality and data-protection agreements.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for session management, authentication, analytics, and personalisation.

You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the platform may not function properly.

6. Data Retention

We keep your data only as long as necessary for your use of TrustyQ, legal obligations, or dispute resolution.

When you delete your account, we remove or anonymise associated personal data within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.

7. Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.

  • Request correction or deletion of inaccurate information.

  • Withdraw consent to non-essential processing (e.g. marketing emails).

  • Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Requests can be made via privacy@trustyq.com.au.

8. International Data Transfers

If you connect social accounts or services hosted outside Australia, your data may be processed in other regions.

We ensure equivalent privacy safeguards through approved contractual clauses and secure transmission protocols.

9. AI Content Generation Disclosure

TrustyQ uses trusted AI providers to assist with captioning, post-generation, and analytics.

AI-generated content is reviewed and editable before publishing.

We monitor for inappropriate or biased outputs and continuously improve safety filters.

10. Children’s Privacy

TrustyQ is intended for users aged 16 and over.

We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided us data, contact us for immediate removal.
